Completion paperwork

I completed on a 2 bed apt on Naranjos at the end of March. Because of work I couldn't get out there myself so my solicitor handled the completion using Power of Attorney. All I've had is a copy of the deeds, but surely there must be some other paperwork that I would have received at completion?  I'm not worried as it all went through ok and I've got the keys, but I just feel like I don't know anything -  about anything (bills, contacts, anything I need to do etc).

If anyone who handled their own completion could let me know if they got any other paperwork at the time, that would be really helpful. Thanks

Fear not...title deeds is all you get on completition, and your keys of course - 4 in total, as we agreed Polaris to hold a spare key for 6 months, to sort electric and water. We will be collecting off them, when we next visit in a couple of weeks.

Polaris supply no further documentation at signing, although we did collect insurance documentation from them at PW HQ, at a later date, as we sourced insurance through them (Zurich)

Other documentation we got off PW, were instructions for kitchen appliances, again - this was at a later date, when we first stayed at our apartment.

We have also been informed by PW to collect documentation on our next visit, with regards to the connection of utilities.

Hi Penny,

You only get a copy of the Title Deeds, the original is lodged with an official Notery. The copy is only for your own reference.

If you lose the copy in theory you should be able to go to any Notary in Spain and they will be able to locate where the original is lodged. 

At least that's how our Solicitor explained it to us.
