Hi

We have been emailing Victoria for information about our likely Community Fees. Our last email was sent on 6th April to the general email address. We have still not had a response, which I find utterly disappointing.

We are in Jardine 3 Los Naranjos, and would like to know what our fees are going to be. When we cam out in March, we were told by other residents that if we emailed RPM they would be able to tell us our fees and let us know when they are likely to want their first payment.

Does anyone have any other email contact details for Victoria please, or any one in her department who would be helpful?

Hi Rachel

I am not aware that anyone on Naranjos has had their community bills so far many have had information about what it is expected to be but since the meeting that was held with PW, RPM and the action group from Condado (asociacion Condado de alhama) on the 6th April, I think they may well be recalculating the all bills?

 

Part of the problem in getting a response from RPM other than they only respond when they feel like it is as part of the cost saving exercise is they have reduced the staff to being just Victioria and she now only works 2 days a week I think, not that you would notice the difference from before.

Has anyone else asked themselves this question? how can a resort our size be run by one single person only working 2 days a week if anything they needed more staff not less and not a shorter working week, am i missing something here?

No you're not missing anything.  I asked exactly the same question, along the lines of, if we didn't get emails answered when there were two members of staff working 5 days a week, what hope have we now?  Also, it's been quoted somewhere that there will be meetings held again soon, I havn't been able to work out if that will be a meeting for everyone together or garden by garden, but  there's not much chance of us all getting to hear about it now, with plenty of notice, is there?

Martyn, June, I really don't know whats going on regarding meetings, I think the sooner we have a 'Official committee' voted in the better, it's all too confusing we need one voice singing from the same hyme sheet, as for RPM staffing levels I'm all for reducing costs but believe this 2 day week for 1 person is a joke, how can they seriously get anything done, its a full time job for a few people I would of thought?

Hi,

I completed in June 2008 in Jardines 13, I have heard nothing from Polaris or RPM regaring service charge, In 2 months time I will be 1 year in arrears!! not looking forward to my bill. I emailed Polaris regarding this and they asked me to email RPM. The Email address I was given was Gernera@rpmspain.com.

I sent the email 2 days ago and as anticipated, I have heard nothing!

Better start saving, when this bill arrives it will be a big one!

Hi Darren

The email address you have is the correct one, and I am surprised you haven't heard anything about your fees.  Ted H is in your garden and on one of the other threads he says he has received his, generally if you have given them your email address, they will let you know what money they want from you if  nothing else.  It seems to be Naranjos that are being left behind at the moment, they may be informing people garden by garden, your guess is as good as mine.

Agree that we really do need to be singing from the same hymn sheet, but how do we go about it?   The whole think has me baffled at the moment,  I know we have good people out there working on our behalf, but the last info from "The Association" said a meeting would take place soon, and that is to appoint garden reps, and mini community presidents?   How come we don't know about it?  It looks as if RPM  are leaving contacts to the two groups, and if we're not in touch with one of them, tough!

I really do want to give RPM the benefit of the doubt and give them chance to come good, but I wish they'd give me something positive to work with

FYI - Had a response from RPM this morning re when the community fees will be taken. They confirmed that they have our bank details (from the form we filled in for PW when we completed) and that the Jan- March fees would be taken next week. Also had an apology for the delay in letting us know.

HI Everyone

Thanks for your comments. I agree it is very frustrating! I'm sure we will all be hit with a big bill just when we're not expecting it. Looks like Victoria is going to be one very busy lady!! This explains why when we tried to see her when we were out a few weeks ago, the portacabins looked well and truly lonely!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for something a little more organised shortly.
