Hello,
visited the other week and had some water issues. We arrived to find none in the flat no matter which cockstops were turned in any combination. The flat was already very stinky but after not flushing the bog for a while we were driven to find a solution. It arrived after a trip outside to find the water meter cupboard open, turning a tap or two got us working.
Anyway went out for a mammoth shopping trip and came back to hear sprinklers, which seemed very close to the flat, which seemed to be coming from the flat. A quick panic check showed no taps running inside but sprinklers seemed to be from overhead.
There we found a tap on the roof that had been left open and just chucked out 17m3 of water so now not looking forward to the bill.
So be warned, there is a tap on the roof and suggest you put a screw on blanking plug on it in case someone leaves it on.
p.s. we did venture to the show room to tell Polaris Crap. Services about it and get water connection forms etc. We know it's our fault but said someone has been on our roof and left it open, we asked who we could report to? Polaris girl says we could report to her. We asked her what she would do? "Nothing" she said, "what do you expect me to do?" she said.
It's not like we were asking her to wind back the meter. Just thought Polaris may have a log of customer issues in case this is a regular occurance. That seems too much effort.
Be warned!
