Community Fees to be taken next week

We've just had an email from RPM to warn us that the community fees for January/February and March will be taken from our bank account next week.

We are still waiting for confirmation as to how much these will be

Well that is progress of some sort - at least you (we ?) are being informed of somethig in advance of it happening, instead of after the event !

How have they got your bank details ? Or have they got info of your solicitor who is acting as your Rep.

How can they take fees next week, the budget won't be voted for until the 16th? In my view we should reject both budgets until they scrap the division between the Jardines and Los naranjos and everyone with similar properties are paying the same for their properties.

Hi Mel,

My understanding is thay you will never get properties paying the same, as the fee we will pay is based on the cueta value in the deeds - which are different.  "Similar" does not equal same I guess.  Jardin sizes are differant, with gardens being of different size etc, hence the differance in cueta values.  That is Spanish legal system & not a PW issue?

Hi Nick,

I think you'll find that this issue has been resolved on La Torre, I understand they had a similar situation. I can't see any reason for splitting us into different areas. I'm happy to pay my share but is has to be divided fairly. I know why it is divided the way it is but I'm not convinced it's been done legally.

We gave our bank account details to Polaris on completion. We asked RPM for a list of dates of when fees would be taken so we could make sure money was transferred into the account.  We assume the payments  will be taken after the budget has been agreed next week.

In La Torre each apartment block has a slightly different quota.  The link below shows how the fees in La Torre are calculated and this is the breakdown we have been asking RPM to supply for us with no luck.

can anybody tell me when community fees will be taken as we havnt paid out yet an it must be building up

Follows response we had received from RPM re the fees, but nothing has gone out yet. Hopefully since the meeting things settle down and the resort run smoothly.

Dear Mr Hardy,

The payments for January - March will be 100.71 Euros per month and it 
will be taken out from your account by this week, but we will only 
take the three first months of the year.

The payment for April-June will be 81.22 euros aproximatly, but the 
reduce must be approved by the community on the next meeting, which it 
will be on 16th of May.

Regarding the fees for 2008 won´t be taken out yet, but the amount it 
will be around 25 Euros per month.
