advice required

Hi everybody need some advice, can all the light fittings brought in the uk i.e ceiling roses, bulb holders etc be used in spain and is there any fittings in the propertys when fininished as we have been told there is no fittings just wires ?

Also we are looking to ship our furniture over does anyone have any info i.e like were to ship to and how long it takes and prices

and how log can it stay on docks or can the crate be left on site for a short period or not . We have had some stupid prices from

£1800.00 upto £2200.00 plus vat we are considering hiring a large van and driving over has anyone done this and how long does it take and is it costly please if you have advice email us on our private email.

We have had similar quotes, we looked into hiring a van but the cost of diesel, tolls and ferry soon accumulate so we decided to use a removals company.

As for lights, I have been advised to buy light fittings in Spain because the roses are a different size in Spain and also the bulbs are different in the UK than Spain (screw and bayonet)

Everything else we have bought in the UK and found it to be a lot cheaper
