Sky TV at Casares del Sol

Hi, we have just agreed on and put a holding deposit on a 3 bed penthouse for long term let at Casares del Sol and it has just occured to me that the description details did not include Sky TV.  I know of two people who have lived there previously and they had the Sky already pre-installed.  I know this is something I could ask the agent but in the meantime is anyone able to put my mind at rest and advise me that all apartments have pre-installed community Sky?

The blocks have a communal aerial which are owned by the holder of the concession who is Tom Anderson. Tom provides the Sky box and will do internal wiring in the apartments. His charges are competitive.

Thanks for your reply.  We do already own a sky box and are quite willing to do our own wiring,  Do we therefore have to pay Tom to plug into the communal ariel?

There is additional wiring outside of the apartment where the patch panels are. The best bet is to ring him and ask him.I don't think you can expect him to provide a 2 metre sat dish and all the wiring from it without getting some sort of return on his investment. I had extra wiring so i could put an eye in the bedroom so we could watch in bed.

Sorry I assumed that the Satellite dish was communal and installed as part of the original build, I didn't actually realise it was owned by an individual.

hello all , If anyone wants the correct infomation on the sky satellite systems i have installed , for your development , please feel free to get intouch , its now been 30 months from the systems have been installed without any problems , but as you know you cant please everyone , but i do my best ,, my biggest problem with all community systems that i have installed ,.. owners or renters allways know someone who can do it cheaper ,, of course they can, they have had no investment , with dishes or switches . i have had to disconect at  least 6 connections over the past 30 months , not bad you may think but i do feel bad for the owners wo have had to pay twice, . as i said please feel free to get intouch regards thomas 654455397
