The answer to both questions is no. I would think it unlikely that the licence for the pool between Blocks 3&4 has been applied for as it 's still in quite a mess, hardly in a condition to make a pool inspector's heart melt!
The pool between Blocks 5&6 is in a better state., but I think there are a number of Health and Safety issues relating to that one as it has a series of quite deep steps to one side of it and also has a deep step on the access to the pool from Block 6. None of these have painted edges highlighting the change in level.
As far as that between Blocks 8&9 is concerned, that's the only one big enough to require, by law, a lifeguard to be present during opening hours.
I suppose there will be three issues in the case of that pool. The first is can the community afford a lifeguard at all, if so, for how many weeks, and once that has been decided ,whether they are able to find one for the time period that's required.
These are just my thoughts, not those expressed by the Administration who are the best people to approach if anyone has any further questions.
