The forum seems to have gone quiet over recent weeks so I thought I would check for life with this problem.
We understand that we are obliged to obtain annual services for the gas boiler and solar water heating system pretty much as you would expect in the UK.
However we have had issues with the solar heating system recently and have been advised by Peraleja that the guaruntees in place cover parts for up to 2 years but only call out fees and labour for 6 months!
It is my view that European law states that any defective product should be repaired / replaced at no cost to the purchaser for a 2 year period.
It is also clear that in the absence of any agreed up front call out or labour rates the costs will be pushed up to cover any parts.
Anyone else had issues with the solar heating sytem, dealt with the proposed service company (Arce Asistencia) or have any views?
