Hi, I know this has probably been asked before, but does anyone have a list of the local market days as we are out at the end of August & my wife was born to shop.

Hi,

the nearest one would be on the Sunday in the Port, I personally don't think there up too much for the likes of footwear, cloths etc but the fruit and veg is fantastic and you can buy in any quantity and so much cheaper than the supermarkets.

Many of the markets on the list are a long way away. There is also a market on Saturday in Mazarron town and Wednesday inAlhama and Tuesday in Totana. Never been but they are supposed to be very good especially for fruit and veg. 

Do n´t forget there also stalls selling jewellery and other similar stuff in the port every evening. we had a great evening having a meal in the port then around the market stalls and finishing with the fair for the children. They thought it was great wandering around at past midnight.
