Has everyone seen the "Driving in Spain" thread on the Jardines de Alhama forum? Its about new speed limits/laws.
I've just read it and it's worth anyone who drives reading it as it could be costly if you don't. Forewarned is forearmed.

Hi Anthony (ant),
My 15 year old daughter came with us at Easter with her pal and vowed never to return (you see, no company of the opposite sex, for them to hang about with, so it was very boring) probably think this was the complaint from your two as well? As for the driving in Spain, just close your eyes and hope for the best..

It's not about breaking the law, it reads as though you can't actually do the speed limit. I don't speed but generally I stick to the speed limit so could have ended up with fines I really don't want to pay.
I watch traffic cops/road wars and it amuses me all the people that moan about being pulled over when they are breaking the law.
