Completions on Phases 1 and 2 to date

Hope we are not too far behind completing on phase 3.

Thanks for all your posts.  To summarise, everything takes a lot longer than you anticipate.  We had four or five Completion dates and Calidonia did not hassle us when we missed them, but they were missed for genuine reasons.  If there was one request that made me wonder what on earth we were doing, it was when the Bank asked for our Blood Pressures!!!  Having said that, once it was confirmed that we had completed, somehow, it all felt worth it.  Even though, as everyone knows, I have been pro Corvera all along, you still have those little doubts in the back of your mind when you know you really will be Completing.  But I now feel even more sure that we have done the right thing for us.  We feel so confident that things will only get better.  Roy has been, and still is being, brilliant and I can't recommend him enough.  Henry from La Vida mortgages has been fantastic and can't do enough to help.  If I can help anyone who is completing in any way, please ask.   Still can't stop smiling :)

Great news Anita and congrats - thanks for your tips along the way. I am in touch with both Roy and Henry now too. Have agreed a provisional completion date of 30th November and I have to say Pablo at Corvera was very reasonable in helping come up with a sensible date since I am away for much of Oct. Just been given a completion date for october for menta phase 2.I asked for a habitation licence prior to completing Pablo said it was due shortly. Has anybody completed without the licence.I have not ordered my air conditioning yet have been in touch with apollo they said it takes a  day or two to fit has anybody used them.I intend to rent for a month while sussing out furniture etc.Has anybody any sugestions on the best furniture stores in the area.Does Corvera order the utilities for you after they get paid??????.

Yes i have put photographs of the Mentas up on my site and they are close and wehat I like about them is the amount of  glass so they should be really light inside

The advice remains that you should always wait for a COH to be issued and you will nit be forced to complete without one 

Corvera arrange utility connections for free and the bills are paid by monthly direct debits straight out of yoyr spanish bank

 I have produced a completion guide which explains the whole process andI know has been helpful to lots of people and is free to anybody even if they are not using my service

I am also on Menta P2. I rang Calidona back in August they said that they were aiming for October but I have not received any phone calls or emails to confirm.Should I chase Calidona  or just sit tight and wait?

Delighted for you, I'll be heading over to mine on Oct 7th in order to get all totally sorted for renting.

Probably a case of any excuse to get back over, I just love being there.

Hope to meet up with you soon, any of the neighbours I have met so far are great, should become a nice little community.

Really pleased for you.

We were there last week and the site is really taking shape. Just wished that they were starting on our part of Phase 3. Still I firmly believe it will be worth the wait.

Anyway enjoy your new home and life .

We got the nod that were to complete next month in Menta Ph 2 (I think Block 11 - we're on the first row you see from the old sales office) although I doubt we'll be ready till November. Still, can't wait. Might even get to toast the New Year there with a bit of luck, and a round of golf.

Yes they are definatley on plan for October/November and i already have booking for snagging probably starting next week so I will be able to provide sample reports and internal photographs soon

Hi Roy, we have a Menta in the same area. Will be very pleased to see any photos you take. When do you feel will be a relistic completion date for Menta phase 2 top northwest corner?

Thanks to some great help from Roy Howitt (and also from FCE furniture) my Corvera apartment is now available to rent. So if anyone is heading out to Corvera soon to complete and/ or prepare their own property for rental and would like somewhere on-site to stay, our Tilo (2bed 2bath, Phase 1) is now available.
