Community Fees Penthouses

Can anyone please tell me how much we are being charged for community fees for the Penthouses in Los Naranjos?  Also I was under the impression that the money will be taken direct from our accounts as they wanted these details for bills when we completed.  I've just recently had a very confusing conversation with someone on site which has left me slightly baffled.  Any info would be great.

The fees for the penthouses are between €68 and €73 depending on which block you live in.  The fees should be collected quarterly.   If you could expand on the confusing conversation I'm sure we can unbaffle you

We had the same issue with PW and RPM, we completed early last year and at that time gave our bank details to PW and waited for the funds to be withdrawn  - which they were not !

We visted the RPM office on site when we were over in August 09 and finally RPM  started to take the monthly fees in October 09 PLUS the months we had not paid - I suggest you hold some cash back in your account as they WILL take the funds eventually. The issue now is with the resignation of RPM at the end of this month, there is bound to be chaos as everyone wil need to transfer  payments from RPM to who ever new is appointed as site management agents

How much is water, electric and other costs coming out at for a Penthouse.

It may be how long is a piece of string especially for variable consumption such as water and elec?

I can give you a rough idea as I have a 3 bed apartment on Jardin 2 and have just had my first 12 months worth of bills.  I try to go out to my apartment every month although I don't rent it out at all so it is personal consumption only.  The water is charged every 2 months and mine is around 13 to 20 euros, compared to the uk so much cheaper!!  The electric various depending on how much heating or air con is used, again it is charged every two months and it various between 50 to 75 euros.  I don't know if you are going to rent your property out as that will have a totally different impact on your consumption.

Thanks for all your replies.  My experience seems to be similar to the one that Snorkychopper gives.  When we completed in March last year our solicitor asked us for bank details so they could be handed over so that these bills could be taken out directly.   At then end of  last year my brother-in-law visited and spoke to someone in the office on site (I assume this is/was RPM?) and a woman there was very rude to him saying that we owed them lots of money etc etc and became quite aggressive towards him.  He didn't really understand what she was saying (literally because she was ranting a bit) and he had to make a hasty retreat saying we would get it sorted.  We are now just a bit confused as we were under the impression that all this should have been sorted out as they should have had our bank details to take whatever we owe.  I shall be at Condado next week and obviously want to get this sorted out.  With the current situation who do you think the best person would be to speak to about this on site? thanks again.
