Has anyone had issues with electricity supply to their apartment on Condado?
We completed in October 2009, but to date still do not have electricity. Having spoken to PW we were directed to Iberdrola. I have contacted Iberdrola on several occasions now but I am not getting anywhere. First they gave me phone numbers for a technician who would not answer his phone(s). Then I was given another number and after getting through was told that "he has no idea why Iberdrola have asked us to call him" and sent us back to Iberdrola again.
If anyone has had a similar issue, any tips on getting this sorted asap? We seem to be going round in circles.
Thanks.

Hi,
Call Iberdrola on +(34) 901202020, when you get through select option 1, then again option 1 at the next menu.
Did you ever get charged a connection fee? If not they have probably cancelled your contract for some reason ( like they did to me, but that's another very long story ) If not then ;-
When you get an answer, in your best Spanish ask for "new contracts", "Los nuevos contratos, por favor"
when you get through to them, ask for an english speaking assisitant " ¿Habla Inglés?. There's a nice lady called Marisol and also a young man there who speak very good english. Try around 10 in the morning, seems to be the best time.
Hope that helps
Phil

Thanks Phil.
I've paid the connection fee. Meter was connected on 17 November 2009, but we have never had electricity.
I have called Iberdrola on numerous occasions, and the English speakers just give me numbers for technicians which either don't work, go unanswered or get answered and we're told "don't know what you're talking about go back to Iberdrola.
I have left an email with them to try I different angle and instructed them to arrange the technician themselves and let me know appointment details.
Not holding much hope though.

Hi,
I'm in Jardin 4 and have not paid any connection fee or been connected to Iberdola. As far as I am aware we are still on builders supply or at least I hope I am.
Am flying out on 27th for a weekend of Golf and the Clover and hope we are all still connected for that, If anyone knows any different I would appreciate it if you could let me know.
Cheers
Mark

Hi Mark,
When was the last time you were out. Iberdrola installed the meters in Naranjos mid September, if you had left your spare key with PW they should on just gone ahead and installed the meter and the inside breaker, do you have a key holder?
You should of received a connection bill, maybe in your mailbox, and been charged the €158 fee. you should also of received a copy of the contract, again could be in your mailbox.
If none of the above, then you will need to go through the process below and get a contract set up. Hopefully if you haven't paid anything they have just done what they did to me, installed the meter but didn't "tick the boxes" to say they did, in which case you will have electric.
They have started taking down the temporary poles for the builders supply, so don't think anyone is still on that !
Phil

Ok, cheers phil.
Last out in september so a while ago, and polaris don't have our key unless there is one floating around we havn't had.
We have a key holder so I will give them a buzz and see if they could check our mailbox (i'm assuming we now have one) and see if Iberdola have left any info.
Thanks.

Hi Mark
We also had problems with electricity connection. Iberdrola installed meters to everyone elses apartment in our block but not to ours but insisted we were up and running although we had no electricity! PW reconnected us to builders supply but this ran out in December! We had to go through the whole thing again with Iberdrola and once they realised they were very quick at getting engineers out to fit a meter and then sent us the contracts because like yourselves, we hadn't received anything from them.
It sounds like you don't know if you have a mailbox in which case you probably won't have a key for it. The keys should have been collected from RPM but as they have resigned not sure who has them any longer. Perhaps Phil can let you know who has taken over responsibility for issuing the keys.
Good luck!
Anne Marie
