my husband and i were over in january this year and had a look round our new penthouse , recently finshed on the phase 2 development.
positive notes are that it is built to a very high standard, and that the views from the verandas are fantastic having a wonderful view of the mountains to the left and the little village and beyond to the right.
Both pools on that phase are finished water is in and although not ready for swimming in yet they look very inviting indeed. One to the back of our penthouse and one to the front over by the town houses.
a fantastic local ex pat bar with friendly staff and lots of local activities within. staff very helpful and nothing seemed to be a bother to them at all.
a fantastic little locally run grocery shop with all the things you can possibly need, again friendly staff, also in the village a hairdressers and a wonderful bakery to die for.
negative notes either the building regulations have changed or the law which states that solar panel heating has to be put into them now, this takes away very precious storage space from the living area , and there seems to be nothing that can be done apart from expensive rewiring of the box onto a solarioum, or learn to live with it.
another negative note is the lack of wardrobe space in the master bedroom where a whole side of the cupboard has a concrete panel running through it covered with wooden panel which leaves very little space for anything at all apart from maybe a pair of shoes !!!
No mention was made to the changes that would happen re the solar panel box or the fact that storage space was to be taken away with the installation of it, nor was there any mention of the large concrete panel running up throught the middle of the house in the original plans.
overall a nice community and i personally cant wait to get over and stay for good.
