We completed just over a year ago and we tried to e-mail the Call Centre to renew our keyholding arrangement.  We got re-directed to another Customer Service site, to which I sent and enquiry.  We then received an e-mail from a compnay saying that they had taken over the call centre work and that we had to contact them.. I e-mailed them for details on how to renew our key holding about a week ago, and sadly have heard no more.

Does anyone know what is going on?

The call center staff from TLT are moved to Mar Menor 2 to handle snagging lists there.

PW Customer Service handles all contacts now via their web site (which I am not allowed to provide the link to here).  Google Polaris World Customer Service.

There care very few staff though so response is at best slow.

we have just appointed alawyer in spain to pull out of our contract wit hpolarisworld.we kept calling them and e-mailing and they have refused to get back to us.after  our meeting yesterday i feel we have done the right thing ,even though it may take years. i dont see why polaris should rob people of their money.the apartments are overvalued anyway now so we arenot prepared to pay 146.000 euros when you can get one now for 105.000 euros.even if it means we may lose our deposit ,we have lost the money anyway  because of thevalue of apt now. i would advise anyone considering pulling out ,to act now.i can recommend our lawyer,he is acting for several polarisworld clients right now.

Hi Steve,  we're snagging our apartment this week so I'll see if I can get a name / info for you although I'm sure by the time we get back,  you'll have all the info you need.

Gazeer.

We are in exactly the same boat and looking at lawyers. Who are you recommending? We are looking at De Cotta, McKenzie & Santafe and would welcome any feedback if anyone has experience in dealing with them. Polaris have totally disgusted us and others who want to paint a pretty picture and mae a quick buck and they know who they are. All advice would be welcome.

The Polaris 6 month 'free' key holding service moved around Sept / Oct last year to a company called Gesfin based on La Torre. I had a private key holder that did not work out for several reasons, so we visited Gesfin and switched; €100 per year for key holding, and they offer for an extra €25 a 24x7 helpline service via a 3rd party. All seems to be well so far, reasonably responsive to emails and easy access on la torre...

As mentioned by previous author the call centre has moved to Mar Menor II - post sale issues are dealt with by Customer Services at PW HQ offices, a chap called Fernando Para - yes just one person!

Re all the issues on delivering of buildings / lack of responses etc, I really do sympathise with this, the financial situation in Spain as a whole is not helping, never mind the PW debt issues around the same time in 2009 and 2008. I would say this is the reason for the response issues - a massive reduction of staff due to handing a lot of the assets over to the banks, all business would do this, quite why PW would take so long to take such action is, well, just not good business. PW have always been a good sales engine, and always been a poor aftersales service, hopefully the financial shake up will keep them focused on core activities.

Just a personal view would be to try and deal with these issues face to face as much as possible, I am aware PW are offering people the opportunity to move to P2 apartments already built with a discount as some phases will not be complete for another 10months at best
