Cannot be sure about completion as numerous responses on here lead you to believe it most likely 2008 at least. I have just come back and posted some pictures from around phase 3 ie blocks 15, 16 etc and there is a long way to go, however i asked about prices and the girl in development office said completion 2008.
I am in phase 1 which has 74 units in 4 blocks ...18/19 in each block on average . there are 22 blocks on the diagram i have so that would mean 22x 18 = approx 396 units i guess, although some blocks are quite small so could be less. This message was last edited by JC1 on 1/22/2007.

I completed yesterday and discussed the completion of the site with the developers representative (a very fluent English speaker). He told me that they were aiming for end 2007 for completing phase 3. (which is split into 2 sections one either side of the road and may finish at differant times). He said it could take 18 months to complete, snag, tidy, and clear the site. So assume mid 2008.
My solicitor told me the developer has a very good name for quality build and professionalism, he knows all the local developers in Costa del Sol. The experience yesterday completing and receiving the keys and information pack was way above the standard I had experience when I bought my first property in Manilva 4 years ago. I used the same solicitor 4 years ago and have been very pleased with his firm.
The apartment was clean and so far only a few minor snags. I need power to finish the snagging. The site is looking good and the plants are growing well. We intend to plant trailing Rosemary in the terrace walls, they grow well need less water and look good and a few sharp cacti to deter climbers.

Congratulations, Jeff! Glad to hear everything went smoothly for you and good reading your comments about the developer. We shall be completing (well, our lawyers signing the Deeds, which I assume is completion!) on 6th February. Do you know how long it will take to have the utilities connected?

My lawyer organised it for me as I like you was out of the country. I did though keep in close contact because you only get 28 days to do your snagging list! And just thinking about it Jan she had a key which she used to have the door openned for the utility people. I was very happy about that as I didn't have to arrange to be there. I do have somebody who can help you if that proves problematic.

Thanks, John. Ocean are doing the snagging for us (for our sins!! - but it's free of charge!!), so we will be chasing them up. Obviously the lawyers will have the keys, so will ask them what they plan to do regarding utilities. We met with Gary Brown last summer whilst we were in Duquesa (GaryB on these posts) and hopefully we will be able to employ his services re letting the builders in for the snagging, and other such things. (Gary, if you read this, we will be emailing you soon!!!).
Anything else we should know, don't hesitate to post it or email it!!!
