hi i was just wondering if anyone knew about them building a similer size development on the side where the palm trees are being stored . the side where the sales office is? because if its true we are in for some dust for a few years

we have been told by Anotonio and Mark in the sales office that it is basically going to be a mirror image of what has already been agreed they shall have their own swimming pool, unsure of when the start date is,

Hi Iain,

When we bought in Feb 06 we were told that Taray held the option on this land and it's development was dependant on the success of the original development . As we all know the site has proved to be very popular and Taray are obviously going to exercise their right to build and capatalize on it's success. Therefore it looks very likely as you say that we will have building work ( and dust unfortunately ) for the foreseeable future.  Hopefully the quality of our our original development will lead to this site selling out quickly too and the building works not taking too long in relative terms.

hello everyone

the site where the site office is we were told when we went out in november that they would be building on that site but they would also be bars shopping centre and restaurants but they didnt know how soon they would start it

When Taray started building at San Cayetano, the originally released information showed their plan to build around 440 houses on the currently empty land on the same side of the road as the current sales office.

These plans were quietly shelved as demand dropped.

Looking at the Taray website, Phase II will be called Hacienda Taray and the plans etc are on the website.  It looks like a similar sized development but with lots of smaller communal pools.  The properties will have solar panels for heating hot water (new laws make this obligatory).  There look to be some new designs as well as some of the ones from the first phase.  it looks as though some of the villas willl have private pools too.  However, there is no information about completion dates that I can find.

We have purchased a quad in phase II. About 4 weeks ago 10 properties had been reserved out of approx 40 that had been released. Completion is stated as Feb 2009. Part of the time span is due to the Spanish elections coming up and possible delays in permission granted. Dont know how true that is but thats what my agent has told me, my solicitor is having an excess delay clause written in to the contract.

Taray are promoting the site as been fully gated and pool/green areas for residents only. Car parking is on car parks with no roads on this phase.

 

Their plans also show at the very end of phaseII a new supermarket and colegio publico.

Is thre any one who can expand on this?

Hi - When we purchased in March 2007 we were told that the site where the sales office is would be a retail shopping complex with bowling alley etc. No date for the development was given.

My understanding for the phase II development was that it would take place on land behind phase I when standing outside the sales office.

We have purchased a quad on the 1st phase of the new phases on the site office side of the road. This first phase is the left hand side of the middle section on the plan on their website (basically the middle pool and buildings to the left).

 

Completeion is due 31/3/2009.
