charity collector

we had a visit yesterday (thursday) from a"charity collector" asking for money for the orphans. I don't want to sound uncharitable, but in the pass we seemed to have had some break ins with a week or two after a collection..... it could be a coincidence...but maybe it would be wise to be  on the look out and make sure your home is secure as possible.

Have a look at my posting on this subject Feb. 5th. and the comments from Cricket Fan and Tinasolera. This guy claimed he was collecting for a barbecue at a childrens charity and  people were donating 30 euros a time. Must be a pretty good barbecue!

I will look up the Spanish for 'GO AWAY' and keep it handy for our next visit. Which is in seven days time!  YEEEE HAAAAAR!!!!

I heard 4 bikes nicked last night and they had to jump over the outside security gates to get them.

We must challenge any suspicious behaviour.
