Completion on CDA - Recommended Lawyers Please

We have just had our offer accepted and financing agreed for a property on Condado and would now be grateful if people could recommend good english speaking lawyers in the area that can handle the conveyancing/notary process ? If you have an email address or tel number even better....

With the Euro going in an upwards direction on the back of Greek financial chaos  (1.30 + anyone ??) this could be a very wise move financially !!

I would thoroughly recommend Marison Socias down at Andugar Carbonell - they have a head office in Murcia but a satellite office in Alcazares from where she works - the office is just down from the Hotel 525 and directly above the notary where Polaris carry out the completions (you wil come to understand the god like status of the notary in the purchase process !!)

Hi Mark,

Todays annual Euribor stands at 1.228, also to remind everyone that from the 1st July the IVA goes up 1% i.e. to 8% of purchase price.

Thanks All for your advice and the contact details provided, especially the tip about the IVA increase...better in my pocket I say !

Thanks also for the comments re the mortgage but we have been able to secure a good 100% deal so all that is left now is to sign a few papers and put the legal process into action. Hopefully we are one of many and we'll soon see many more occupied units on the resort and will see it develop into something special.
