JUST GOT THIS FROM ANOTHER FORUM .------

Mar Menor Golf Resort the town centre is today being stripped of everything and anything that can be removed,this includes all catering equipment from the restaurant and bar,all gym equipment and potted plants, even the reception desk has been removed! The company that was running the paddle courts and gym will be holding a meeting tomorrow at 10:00 in the Irish bar. Anyone can attend.

Haha, dont knock cuckoo land, I have bought an apartment their! Its has 3 gold courses, a beautiful clubhouse and an Oasis centre containing Bars, Restaurants, a Cinema, Bowling, retail shops and much much more!

Not to mention the 5 Star hotel, and free busses they run to their beach club and other cuckoo resorts.

That is the point im making, a lot of people have bought into cuckoo land me also,but when you tell the facts and they dont like what they hear, your scaremongering, cup is half empty etc etc.The sooner they wake up the better.

I am wide awake, and my cup is still half full, what good does it do spreading doom and gloom all you get is grief, better just keeping quiet and waiting to see what happens, I am still very optomistic about the future of Condado but then I have a wonderful view not only of the golf course but of life itself.

I was not doom & gloom what i posted it was fact. So if i see a someone braking into properties and taking out all the goods,do i not tell someone for being in fear of being told on this forum im a doom & gloomer.

Fact or not.   You need to ask yourself what good does it do telling people who are already nervous about the future of PW and Condado, absolutely none.  This information is irrelevant  and shows a lack of consideration for others. As Rob said Scaremongering and gossiping.

Our glass is still half full too if not three quarters at the moment - infact the taking over of the golf course by Olagolf is quite an exciting prospect.  Now we've got more chance of getting our golf clubhouse.

Did you realise that our gym was cleared out last week while we were there.  It was reported that the community are actually looking at taking the sports area over themselves

Ali and SImon are like us and have been posting on this forum for many years - long before the apartments were built. 

Also Rob is in a better position than most  to tell us what is happening  at Condado as he is a permanant resident

Quality Ant....Can't be doing with these gloom & doom merchants.  Yes we all need to be realistic, but some people just need to reminded of the fact that we are still in the biggest Global (not just Spanish) world wide recession since the 1930's

Whether you have made 800 posts or 20 posts, whether your glass is half full or half empty, surely you are still entitled to state a fact or have an opinion without people being rude to you or trying to ridicule you, isn't this what the forum is for?  Have never felt the need to make a post until today, must be really clueless.

Being one of the "half full boys" and being disapointed with Polaris and my purchase on Condado, i think there should be room for positive and negative on this forum. For two long all the "Negativity" and "doom & Gloom" has been left to me. So all go easy on Willy Wonka! us "Half Full Boys" are increasing day by day, but we are still serverely outnumbered.

In fact you should all be extra nice to Willy Wonka, because and estate agent friend of mine,in Murcia, recently told me that Willy Wonka is currently conducting viability studies around Murcia. He is considering the spare land near La Isla as a site for a "charlie and the chocolate factory theme park"

Although i dont trust this estate agent as in the past he has promised me Disney Land, A Harry Potter Theme Park, A Hannah Montana Theme Park, Paramount studios, The Oasis Shopping area and a Golf Clubhouse.
