Missing Towels

Hello all

No big deal ,just irrtating. My wife and her three friends left 4 beach towels on the patio area of our ground floor appartment to dry on Saturday night.Sunday morning  they have vaished.We have always left our bikes and even guests out there all night never a problem .We are in block 8 phase one.

I completely agree - I would be really annoyed too. Luckily your guests didn't disappear too - hope they didn't mind being left on the patio overnight! Sorry couldn't resist! Hope they have now been returned.

Have you checked the nationality of your neighbours! 4-0 world cup result !!

I have just read this and I am disgusted. There was a crowd of 5/6 renters at the lower pool beside Block 9 last week who were quite rough, drinking with glasses at the pool side, drinking and shouting on the terraces late into the night etc so I will check where they were renting as the area round your pool is very quiet at the moment and I might be wrong but it could have been them and the towels may have been left in the rental property they were in. 

I will try to find out who rented the property for you and we will take it from there. My towels are always on the terrace with no problems and there are a number of Spanish owners here most of the time and their towels are on the chairs on the terraces as well so it seems strange that yours disappeared. Hopefully they will turn up and I will keep you posted.

 Some time ago I suggested that the best way to deal with security issues was for owners to have each other's contact details.  Someone on this forum posted, incorrectly I have to add, that this would be a breach of  privacy laws.  If details are given voluntarily then it is quite acceptable.  I shall therefore say once again that it is a good idea to get to know your neighbours in your block  and, if they are willing, compile a record of their contact details.  If there is a security issue or an issue with renters then you can easily contact the owner and discuss it with them.  It works on other developments so why not on Roda?  On the same subject why was Roda security not enlisted to deal with the rowdies by the pool?  People will only behave badly if they are allowed to do so.
