Pay as you go mobile broadband using a usb dongle

Hi,

Drew here, visiting our place on the 24th June.  We were wondering if anyone uses mobile broadband with a dongle? if so how much is the dongle (We have one here in Oman not sure if it would work with another sim card/network) What is the connection like at la Hacienda ? We think this would be a useful service to offer our renters?  Any help please.

Hi there

We use a vodaphone dongle when in spain , cost us initially 40 Euros for dongle and then jsut top  up with a pay as you go . There reception is not brilliant but OK  and good for e mails and keeping in touch with family .

Thanks for the info, we went for the Vodaphone one in the end, we had trouble loading the software to start with, we used our friends Moviestar one which was great, wished we had got that instead as its very user friendly.  However the good thing about the Vodaphone dongle is that the credit is valid for 90 days or until you reach your download quota.
