Dog mess

Every one .

I made an earlier post, reference my missing towels . they turned up but I never liked them any way.I think my wife must of bought them at a 50 pence store.It's OK she never reads this hence the bravado.It did p!!! me off for about 50 seconds.What I find hard to accept is that a really good mate of mine who is staying in our appartment in block 8 phase one phoned me this morning to say he had to dodge the dog SH!!! when walking to the pool.Its disgusting and can be a real health risk to infants.Who do I talk to.Any guidance would be very much appreciated

We returned on Tuesday from 10 days at our apartment (Phase 1 - Block 11) .. very near to your apartment. We had our granddaughter (just under 3 years old) staying with us for 6 days during that time and we also experienced the 'dog poo nuisance'. We found ourselves permanently 'eyes down' checking the area we were about to walk on just in case we stumbled across some of the unsavoury 'presents' deposited by dogs and cats. This was a particular concern with a toddler who loves running around on the grassed areas around our apartment and the pool areas (always supervised...I hasten to add!). There appears to be an increasing number of dogs and whilst they are there I guess the problem will remain. We feel that this is highly undesirable but I'm not sure what, if anything, can be done to rectify the problem?

This is a problem more and more owners are showing increased frustration with and is a problem for both your community and the Entidad.

Your community rules should state that in the gardens and pool areas animals should be on a lead but I think it is unfair to allow dogs on there however cats also create a nuisance with mess.

I recently contactedJthe Entidad to ask what their stance was in light of the fact that San javier Town Hall recently launched a campaign highlighting fines payable for allowing your dog to mess in public areas. So far little seems to have been discussed and I would urge you and all others who have come across this problem to contact both Housing as Administrators at info@housingcomunidades.com as well as your community President asking them to forward your queries to the Entidad.

The more of us who show concern, perhaps the quicker something will be done.

We talked at this year's AGM for Phase 2 about putting some sort of high pitched sensors around the pool areas to deter cats and dogs.  Has anything more been done about this?
