Bulgarian at Camposol.

Arlene, I noticed on the take-away thread you had a 'not so good' experience at the new restaurant.

Do you think it was just down to teething troubles at the new Bulgarian or were they just plainly understaffed/disorganised/or couldn't give a hoot ?? Did you just hit on a bad night ?

Anyone else visited here ? I was thinking of trying out when over soon.

 We went twice and each time we ended up with food we did not order

We went in July...

• Took about 15 minutes for them to even take drinks orders and then another 15 minutes for drinks to arrive (we did try ordering at the bar but we're told they'd come to our table)
• After waiting forever for them to take food order we were then told there would be a long wait,which nearly made us give up on the place altogether but we stuck it out and food wasn't too long in coming 
• We ordered 2 starters and two mains - two starters and one main were delivered all at once. They didn't have record of us ordering 2nd main and couldn't understand why we questioned starter and main being delivered at same time. By the time I'd eaten my starter the main was cold.

Food itself was okay but service was terrible and we wouldn't rush to go back. It's a shame as the place is done out really nicely and it's good to have something a bit different. Hopefully it was just teething problems and they'll get their staffing sorted out.

We went in July (I think it had just opened) for lunch and found it just average. 

Service wasn't great but not awful.  Food was again OK. 

We did have the issue that one main arrived about 7-8 minutes after the others which was not ideal.

I wouldn't write it off after just one visit but considering that all up it was more expensive than what we coiuld get at a cafe/pub we expected more.

It could well have been teething troubles.  That, combined with my PMT is an explosive mix when it comes to not getting my food!! I may well try it again at some point and, as it has been pointed out, the decor inside did look nice and cosy. 

I think that they are experiencing teething trouble as they opened slap bang in the middle of the holiday season and what with the permanent residents wanting to try something new too I think they were a bit overwhelmed. It may be worth letting things quite down a bit and then give them a try which is what we are going to do.

I have been  to this restaurant 3 times, the food is excellent, the service is good and the people are very friendly, i think with them just opening they do have a few teething problems bit so does every business that has just started up.

Like fozzer said give them a chance.
