hi all im coming over in october and am looking to buy a couple of golf club sets and bags for myself and my brother , anyone any idea if there is anywhere near i can get the sets and how much roughly do they cost cheers  mejazi10 , p,s second hand sets might also do cheers

As Patrick posted the Great Golf co in Balsicas (by La Torre) is a good place to start.

I bought a set from them a year or two ago as I didn't want the hassle or cost of transporting my clubs back and forward.  I got a cheap set 3I to SW with 5W,3W,D and putter (Acer brand I think). Along with a carry bag and basics like glove, balls and tees the total cost was in the region of €225.  This was a special deal they had at the time but they do seem to have special offers on a regular basis.  Clubs have been great and all I have changed is the driver.

Hubby just bought me a brand new full set of ladies clubs, bag and trolley from ebay for £99.00, thought this was great value for my first set, check out ebay first as they have some really great deals. Now looking for a second hand set to leave in Spain. There is also a web site call sportshq which is worth a look.

Decathlon on the way to Cartagena have golf sets etc at good prices.

 i am selling a set for my neighbour who house got flooded in the storm, the clubs are from the edinburgh golf co. their's a putter, 2 drivers and 5 of the other clubs, don't know what their called as i don't play the sport. also about 20 balls, big bag of tee's, bag and trolley. bag is a bit water damaged. will take offers for it and will deliver it. the moneys to help with the repair bills for my neighbour, their newly converted underbuild was under 6 ft of water, plus they were in England on holiday as it happened!!! so any offers considered, would help them out alot. 634 341 958

Have a look at www.condadogolfclubhire.eu these guys are based on Condado.I have hired clubs off them before and they also sell clubs,balls, gloves etc. They have sets for sale from 130 euros which includes 5,6,7,8,9 irons, Pw Sw putter, bag 3 wood and driver delivered to your door on CDA.

the clubs are right handed then lol, here's whats in it, the bag is palmsprings, the clubs are prizewinner from the Edinburgh golf Co, sand wedge, wedge, and a 5,8,9 iron. the drivers are from Aldridge England HB&S, pinseeker tour model 3,5. the putter is a Regency Greenkiller Pro, as i said before the bag is water damaged from the floods last month, any offer will do and can pop upto CDA this evening for anyone to view. thanks Dave 634 341 955
