Sky TV Advice

Hi All,

Wonder if you can all give me some advice on the best way of getting SKY TV out there?

We've been told to buy an additional box through SKY here and not mention it's for abroad but we are then wondering where the dish comes into things??

I'm female, so keep it basic please ;-)

A SKY box wont work at Condado, you need a cable box configured with the right settings.

We used Big Dave. He installed a digibox for us and it cost us 150 euros. He was very helpful, going through everything with us, even advising us when we lost some channels that it was Polaris updating, and sure enough they were back the next day. They're the same boxes that Polaris themselves provide, but I understand they charge about 480 euros! Dave lives in Mazarron and was with us very quickly even though he was having his dinner at the time. Hope this info helps.
