LAND AT CONDADO

HI ALL,, DOES ANYONE KNOW WHATS PLANED FOR THE LAND AT CONDADO WHERE THE OTHER GOLF COURSES AND THE OASIS WERE MENT TO BE ??   ANY IDEAS ??

It seems all that land is now in the hands of the Banks and only the rumour about Paramount has surfaced regading what could be done with it.

 Yep, All the land was handed over to the banks.  So unless the property market recovers and PW recover enough to both buy it back and develop on it, the other courses and Oasis just ain't going to happen.    The Paramount thing would of been nice ( Perhaps? ), especially for the banks, as they were pushing the site as a good location.  But given the current climate I'm not sure Paramount would want to build another theme park at the mo?

Hollywood is in financial turmoil.  All the big players have cash flow issues.  For example MGM have stopped the filming of the new James Bond movie.  They are attempting to sell off the James Bond franchise to rescue their core business.  Even their famous Vagas hotel and casino enterprise is under great threat.  They are not alone!  Don't hold out for a Paramount solution, the cash simply doesn't seem to be there.  Murcia government officials would have to make an absolute amazing offer to encourage any cash injection for future development at Condado to take place.  As for a Polaris revival, the sooner they are sent out to pasture the better, they have already mismanaged a business model  that if operated correctly was nie on impossible to fail.  I rest my case.
