just a thank you to our committee for everything they do for our community,under difficult circumstances,ie,people not paying their fees.i would like to know if we can do anything about the few people who keep their balconies full of rubbish.the apt in block 4 has had boxes and beds  stacked on theirs for the last 3 years.it takes the look of the whole block.thanks ,coben.

I know which apartment you mean, the one in the ground floor that has an antenna. The owner has been warned for that and for the antenna and I am taking legal action.

Those legal actions will need reasurrance from the majority of people in the next AGM, the same as people that have done changes that affect the aspect and aesthetic of the building. People should not do any changes that affect the rest of us. If somebody needs to do something, refurbishment outside or anything at all needs to ask permission. Is common sense and its in our internal rules. I totally disagree with the people that have installed also awnings that are not the ones allowed by the community. If everybody does their own thing, this will be the joke of MIraflores.

Anyway, thanks for your support. At the moment, we are doing the gardens of block 3 and back of block 3. I have bought benches. I am replacing all the stolen fire extinguisers and putting them in a box, hoping that it will stop people for taking them for parties.... anyway, hard work when no many people pay and I am also paying the debt to the gran community.

I would like to buy some more umbrellas and sunloungers for summer. I would like to paint... so many things to do...

The chlorine machine broke and we are waiting for the maintenance people to delivered it fix asap.

The next AGM will be on the 17th June

I will not go forward this year as president but I am hoping that somebody of my trust will continue this hard work. If somebody of my trust agrees to continue, I will somehow be involved in the community anyway. If you cannot assit to the next meeting, please send me your proxy as they will be lots of important issues to decide.

I will keep you updated.

Last year sitting outside by the swimming pool with my family and friends i could not believe the noise that was being created by barking dogs,(everyday i was on holiday) to say i was embarrased that i owned a property there was an understatement, this has become a plague in the last few years, 1 dog starts barking then we have a multitude joining in. Why do people lock dogs outside on the veranda when they,re not in all day ?surely this cant continue ? if they cant look after them why have them at all ? Can you tell me what we can do about this as a matter of urgency ? and would it not be better to ban dogs from the development all together.

I would actually agree.

Next to our apartment are 2 large dogs and they do create noise and mess.

What are the rules of the community.

Yea Dave needs sorting as a matter of urgency as much as Maria seems to be doing her best these issues are pulling the place down,something needs to be done about these dogs and quick.

 I agree I have sent numerous emails to inter cala complaining over the last 3 years,they say they have sent warning letters to the dog owners but as of now nothing has changed. I have actually confronted the owners, but for some reason they seem oblivious to the noise. I presume you are talking about the dogs in block 5. 

We were out there in Jan and Feb and the alsation on the ground floor in block 5 was howling for hours on end to the point where we had to sit inside with the patio doors closed.

I don't know if you have also noticed the rubbish in the garden next  to the apt. with the Alsation  It makes the place look like  the slums, it's embarrassing, you actually see people walking past pointing and commenting.

We should get our heads together and complain in mass to the administrator.

This is Maria Pilar Valverde, the previous president. Alberto Segorbe is the president now Dennis.

Unfortunately, the dogs cannot be banned from the complex. I wish. The problem is that in the rules is not forbidden and to do that, everybody would have to agreed. With just one person not agreeing it couldnt be done and as you all know, there are lots of people with dogs so its not possible.
