Hello everyone.

My wife and I are looking for property to buy in the Costa Calida area and visited the Sierra Golf development on Saturday. We have 2 children (a boy and girl, 10 and 6 respectively) and wanted to know if there are any other families looking to move into the development and therefore use the local State School in Balsicas.

What we don't want to do is move into an area and have the children isolated form other ex-pat children that would help them settle into the area.  We visited Sucina also and was impressed with the village and local amenities!

I have taken a few shots of the streets and the way they are coming along and will post them when I get a minute, but to let you know the kerb stones are in place and it looks like it is just the tar-mac and grids to be finished. The guy on site confirmed the 1st phases should be released April 2007.

Cheers

Rob

Hmm, I've had 21 viewers (thank you to each of you for your time) but no replies. Which, makes me think you're all of an age I can not mention without digging myself into a hole!!!

This is a shame as Aud had mentioned that a few families had bought off plan.

thanks again...

Rob

If Sierra Golf is anything like Camposol, the majority of residents are retired or semi-retired, however there are a number of young familes living here. All attend local schools & pick up language with what seems little effort.

Good luck

Kathy
