Make sure you have EHIC www.ehic.org.uk/Internet/home.do Camposol Medical centre opening or has opened and they should have English speaking staff. Alhama medical centre is for Condado but not found anyone that can help. Puerto Mazarron Medical Centre has translators on certain days.
Private doctor on Camposol believe he is English speaking. In emergencies Arrixaca had English speaking nurses and doctors . Aparantly I am told that to go to university in Spain you have to speak English now. so younger people speak more English.
Bring with you the boxes of any medication you use as it is easier to get what would normally be persciption medication from Pharmacy -El Pareton very helpful. If you have a particular medical condition I suggest you bring evidence that you have been prescribed medication otherwise you need referal to consultant and that takes time. One person I took to docs was told neded a letter from doctor - how that works in another language!.
Translators are available to accompany you on a visit if needed.
If you have private medical insurance then they should provide details of their doctors available in the area.
In an emergency dial 112 they have English speaking operators. On one occasion we found phone locked after call as I read they can lock in to find location!
