Water Damage

My apartment which is in block 5 of the penthouses has suffered extensive water damage which is described as being mould about a foot in height in both bedrooms, bathroom and outer bathroom wall. I assume the problem has been there some time in order to rise up the wall. I havn't been out to Spain for a couple of months and was fine when I left it last.. I would  assume that the problem has originated from the bathroom perhaps from some sort of leak.

Given the circumstances, I wondered if anyone has suffered the same or similar problem and what action you took next or should I go directy to an insurance claim??

There was a lot of damage caused by floods in August, the first thing to do is contact Polaris Customer services on http://www.polarisworld.com/polarisworld/en/atencioncliente if you don't get on joy from them then contact Mileniun as it maybe covered under the community insurance email incidenciascondado@mileniun-levante.es

Has anybody had this damp/water leak problem repaired by themselves i.e. can anybody recommend a local tradesman who can give a quote to do the necessary repairs.

Have sent the complaint to Polaris but would like to get the job done now and not never !

cant believe it but polaris phoned me today to arrange a visit to see damage and then hopefully repairs so please dont give up
