Anyone else had an e-mail from the management company to say that they owe over 76 euros from July 2008 to the end of that year. I thought we had agreed the charge and I know that our payments were taken out. Where did they get that amount from, or do they make it up as they go along?

We too had an email re 2008 fees and as far as I can tell - we have paid regularly since we bought which was mid/end of 2008 anyways...

Yep, like wise weve got the same e mail, I think there are a few grey areas from the old service managment company passed over to the new.
Who really knows whats what.

No one has paid their fees for 2008 - see minuites of AGM on the Community website when it was agreed that the 2008 fees would be taken in September 2010 if I recall correctly - so they are late taking them.
It is a nice surprise to see they are so low as they were talking about 30 euro a month originally.

totally agree,I was surprised it was so low, had a email ages ago from rpm saying that they were collecting 2008 money and it was going to be over 200 euros. I think the new company seem to be doing a good job

Just to put some perspective on it, A friend of mine has sold his holiday chalet on Ribby Hall, on the North West of England coast. Ribby Hall is basically a supposed upmarket combined Caravan and chalet resort with one bar/meeting place. The reason for selling up is the annual community fee is approaching £5,000 and he has recouped only a fraction of what he paid for it. so I, for one, am pleasantly surprised by how little it costs annually to run our apartment.
