The Comments |
I look at this site, but have never felt the need to add any comment , however I am a bit disturbed by some of the comments, made in posts, about other people on this community.. over the last few days. I'm sure we are all aware that new committees will need to be formed for the different manzanas... each of the president's, on individual mananzana's, have made significant differences to the whole community. so I ask...is it fair and community spirited to single individual people out.... giving an impression that all they have done is negative and totally ignoring all the positive.
I feel our president has done a good job on the whole...lets face it , no one else, a year ago, wanted the job or the criticism and hassle that came with the position., and no-one is perfect, whatever certain individuals think.
I personally do not want to live in a community that thinks the way to change things is to make personal attacks on someone, who is just trying to do his best for all of us.
It's time to be grown up and stop the back biting !!

i had the mis-fortune to read the comments from Whistleblower 57 before they were removed. I feel sick that some one, who lives in this community, can post something so nasty and vindictive...who ever you are ...you should be ashamed of your self...it's one thing to post something anonymously...but have you the guts to reveal yourself....i don't think so.

lets face it almost everything on eye on spain is posted anonemousely, that is not the problem here. what is the use of words such as nasty, vindictive waster. I also applaud much of the work that the presidente has donebut as an "outer" understand the concerns of those in the inner walkways. i have several good pals in the "inners" and they are certainly not nasty vindictive or wasters. much of what whistleblower was saying is true, ihave seen the evidence. mr president does need to clean up his act if he wants future office. he also needs to realise that a community is made up of outer homes and inner ones

No, not us……we could never applaud the guy BUT we do agree with much that Mack1 says.
With all the single posts that have come out in support of Snr President are you doubling as porkpiggy or pat1?
Joking apart, enough said, we will all know where we stand post March 3rd/4th.
Best Regards

Hi to Pat 1,
Having been told a few days ago to take a look at this forum, I would like it to be known that I have never posted on this site. I did see the 'removed' post and would agree with a lot of its content, but feel that this is not really the place to assaninate a fellow resident on the same Urbanisation. I presume (putting 2 & 2 together and perhaps making 5) that this latest 'point' at man 4 is aimed at me. I am sorry to let you know that you are wrong! It very definately came from one of your own. Despite my feelings for the person concerned, I feel that enough is enough and that you all (man 5 owners) should deal with the problem in the correct manner and use your votes at your meeting to reach a majority democratic decision. I have told the person concerned what I think of them to their face and we still seem to be able to have a 'working relationship'.
As I work on the Urbanisation and earn my income from four of the Manzanas, I am not likely to 'go public' with my personal thoughts. I am also quite happy to publish my name (despite the user name being obvious) and not hide behind a coded name. My name is still listed on San Cayetano forum but I have been unable to post anything because the EOS organisers blocked me after I placed an 'advert' post for work on the site. so I have had to spend time and effort to get another user name on here to be able to reply to this comment.

I think what he was getting at was community insurance. he said that the premuim was not enough and only covered half the value.does anybody know what they meant. is it true? we musnt throw the baby out with the bathwater. ithink someone should investigate this one

Back in the UK and while ‘home’ filing the agenda etc re Friday’s AGM of the Manzana 5 Owners Community I note that at the meeting on March 17 2010 each home was allotted one vote when it came to agreeing the constitution, the officers and the budget. Under the Horizontal Property Act should it not have been quotas that needed to be tallied for majority vote purposes? If so and looking through my deeds I note that my quad has a quota of 1.315 so I trust it will be this that will be taken into consideration re the ‘worth’ of my proxy at Friday’s AGM.
Also, I note from the agenda, arbitrary decisions appear to have been made regarding the actual community charges to be applied for 2011. Again, under the Horizontal Property Act, should not the expenses of the community be allocated in proportion to this same quota…..the larger the quota, the more you will pay, the smaller the lesser? If so I again trust it will be my quota that determines my community charge at Friday’s AGM and not just someone’s personal comparisons.
Best Regards

Hi all
looking into community insurance i see that that under Spanish law 5% of our last annual budgetmust be allocated to a mandatoty Community insurance fund. does anyone know therfore why is the new phase5 budget showing only 200 or so euros for insurance.

200 Euros seems very low. On Manzana 3 there is 1,670 Euros in the budget.
Our community fees are very high for this year, but we are having to pay extra so there are enough funds in the account to pay the bills as there have been so many non payers in the last year & 2 properties still owing for 2 years!
It is very disheartening when some of us pay on time & in full to be penalised for this by higher fees to subsidise for non payers & to have provison for bad debt built into the budget !
