What is happening with the golf coure

Has anyone got any firm information as to the current status of the golf course, there are all sorts of rumours circulating that the Golf Course management team have pulled the plug and retreated to spend all of their time and energies at Roda Golf.

What will this mean for the course at Corvera, will it be maintained or left to return country land...what a waste that would be.

Any information would be very welcome

I have actually mailed my clients with information on the current status as last Friday the club pro and his assistant were let go and the shop and range closed

Owners can continue to use the course by booking at the main office but there as no buggies or trolleys

The course is being maintained as normal, plenty of people working on the greens and fairways today

All sorts of reasons why this has happened, of course lack of money plus ZERO revenues being generated by the course which still does not have the necessary licence that allows the public to pay and play

I can fully understand the situation. It has been discussed several times - chicken and egg situ.......

Until there is a lot of hustle bustle, it doesn't make sense to keep spending money on an empty range etc.

I am sure the range will open once the demand is there and enough revenue can be generated via this superb facility.

Good news about the course that it is being maintained........

Perhaps same goes for the clubhouse.

Lets hope that new airport and themepark can generate interest and normal services resumed.

 Whether it's understandable or not, it would have been reasonable to expect Calidona to have informed owners that this was happening, rather than get this info from a forum - have they learned nothing - clearly not!

Just look at their website - well over a year since it was updated.

As a business person, this important item (website) would be one of my major priorities to update on regular basis.......

Did they apply for a license? They have had long enough.

If so, why was it turned down?
