I actually tried out the Tram yesterday so that I can provide the travel information to clients and found it very quick and easy to use with lots of help from the staff on the platforms
We parked at Neuvo Condminium which is the end of the line and walked the short distance to the stop, fare into the City Centre €1.50 or you can get 15 journeys that last a year for €10. children under 4 travel for free
It runs in a horse shoe shape from NC, through the City to The University, same fare for a journey from end to end, €1.50 and has a stop at Terra Natura so you can also catch it in the University area
The main stop for the City is Plaza Circular which is around 1km walk from the Catherdral area up through the main shopping streets
This is a good cheap way to combine a trip to the shopping centre and City especially if you don't want to fight with the city traffic or find parking
