It's been 30c for the last 2 days, same forecasted for the next 2, the pool is warming up nicely, an initial 'whoaaaaa' but within a few secs it's fine, the gardens are the lushest i have seen since 2008 with trees, grass, shrubs and bourginveilla all appearing to be thriving, and J4 isn't even one of the show gardens .
Not been to Al Kazar yet, stayed out on the terrace till 9 tonight supping the vino, chilli with friends 2moro, port on friday, and i'll do a chicken roast dinner on sunday with friends again .............. absolute quality and another 5 weeks to come in July, August & October once this week is over............ glass half full? only when it needs filling up again or it's too hot too fill it !

Yep, the only week away with no dustbin lids for us as well, whether i have a UK house still in one piece when i get back will be interesting ............... chilli went down well, but despite plates being cleared it was a 'tad hot' according to feedback ..... and i made it mild ............. temp hit 34c yesterday, cloudy at CdA, but nice at Cartegena, and what they are doing with the promenade/walkways at Isla Plana looks great (love the mountain road back from Cartegena and the long line of traffic behind me) and also the prom/pavements at Puerto Mazzaron are looking much nicer - but some work still ongoing ............ they are spending lots of money round here and it's all looking better, just hang in there all you doubters
Also worked out how motorway junction numbering works over here, (well the missus did), always just thought they didn't make sense, but now it's bloody obvious and better than the UK system, so progress all round, and as for the saddle soreness, well am hoping the padded pants, gel seat and rubber ring i got from Decathlon yesterday will help - if you look closely you can see the bruises
and once again have chilled so much i haven't met some people i wanted to, ''maybe tomorrow .........live the dream''

Hi Shampers
Dont keep the numbering system on the motorways a secret. Share please.
Ham always thought they had chose the numbers out of a hat.

The junction numbers are simply kilometers.
Every km there is a blue km sign (blue signs also on major roads) showing motorway number and kms point of he motorway - there are also 9 x numbered 0.1 markers inbetween each 1km marker .............. i presume they start at '1' at the origin of the motorway/road.
Example when you get on the RM2 coming back from Murcia the junction number is 627B. On the RM2 the junction numbers go from J1 to J4 missing out J2 and J3 but all J1 means is 1km since start of RM2, and J4 is 4km since the start ..............makes it dead easy to pinpoint where you are

Hello again
Thanks Shampers.
As a non driver, even I can understand the system now.
I will not tell Ham I got the information from you ( well not at first) I will let him think I have worked it out myself.
Having said that, he would not believe me
So thinking about it I will just have to tell him the truth
Jan

Rode past it on the bike this morning, there was some seating there but didn't count them
And there has also been a facebook invite to watch the little game being played tonight, so it's still open as well

might be a good thing polaris moving out and let someone take over who is interested
on the way back to the airport driving past the mar menor resort - you notice how much effort they are putting in to that resort the place looks vibrant.
for me its time polaris give up and move on from condado and let ola golf take it over - they are doing a great job with the golf course as it is looking really good.
theres a little offer on in the clover a bucket of ice with 12bottles of larger for ten Euros and because its going down a treat they are talking about stopping it - what are they on or are they hell bent on destroying the place
move on polaris
