Problems with door lock mechanism

Hi there, I'm in the penthouses and I have a problem with the front door lock mechanism.  It seems to be sticking when locking and unlocking the front door.  Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix it?

Probably stating the obvious but some lubrication might be the order of the day as mine needs this as it makes a noise when in operation. Also don't forget - if you put the key in the wrong way the lock won't move. (Ridge on the key to the top right). JF 

Common problem with these doors is the bolts that come out to lock door to the frame start to rust and squeak and can stick.

You need to open door then lock fully whilst open, then clean the extended bolts with WD40 or simular to clean rust and lubricate, there is also a bolt that protrudes from the top of the door.

Once cleaned and lubricated and the lock also,  put oil on key and lock from inside and out you will then find you can spin the key to lock.

Basically the locks are not used enough?
