Not sure what time it opens but its early enough...would think 8ish. Not sure closing time as we go in the morning but would expect it to be around noon.
We normally park about a couple of minutes walk from the market. Coming into Alhama, go over the bridge, and take a left onto the slip/local access road at the roundabout (runs parallel to the main road), go along there to nearly the end of that road and park (about 150m). There are parking spaces all the way along the road.
To get to the market walk to the next roundabout and turn right...about 200m up there (there is a small diagonal road near the end b4 the roundabout which shortens the walk slightly buit I don't know the names)
I'm sure you can park closer but we always find this easy to park (if you are there 9ish) and also easy to drive home.
