Buying pictures

I want to buy some paintings/pictures for the wall of my new apartment. Any idea where I can find some - either San Javier or Murcia city areas? Ive been to Leroy Merlin but cant find anywhere else.

We bought some really nice ones from Mazzaron Market that takes place every Sunday

The market is masive but there is a large open sided lorry that is full to the brim & very well displayed.

There is also a  large outlet in Campasol next to the supermarket that also sells some unusual ones. We bought a few for the bedrooms from there. Friends say they thought they were far more expensive than they actually were

We spent ages looking for pictures for our apartment. Would you believe we found exactly what we were looking for in the big chinese shop in Mazarron! We saved a packet, and they were almost identical to the ones we'd seen in the expensive shops and they were also cheaper than the ones at the Sunday market in Mazarron. It depends what you are looking for I suppose, but we love them! As you come into Mazarron, look out for Lidls on the left hand side, and the shop is just past there on the right hand side. In our opinion it's one of the better chinese bazaars. Hope you find what you're looking for.

We have also bought some very nice pictures for our apartments from the picture lorry at Puerto de Mazarron sunday market which our guests have passed good comments about.

When we were out a couple of weeks ago the new Sat market at the Al Kasar there was a stall selling nice pictures.I think it is the same people who have a stall at Mazarron market.Pat

Last I was out I noticed my favourite shop "Naura" stocked more pictures than before and the prices had come down quite considerable.  I believe they have changed hands, but they still have some lovely items there,

We´ve had a few of our own photos blown up by the Photo Shop in Mazarron Town ... Foto Lopez. Just take in a flash drive with the photo & they will tell you how large it can go.....much nicer than a shop bought one & an original !!

Alternatively , there´s always Ikea for mounted prints, plus down in the Puerto there is a picture shop.. near the new marina.

There are a coupleof nice shops in Alhama, as you come to the roundabout with a fountain you are going left and the shops are set back from the road on the left hand side opposite a gardening and hardware store. We got a nice picture for our living room from one of them a couple of years ago.
