Surely this happens every time July the 1st falls on a Friday? In other words, on average once every 7 years, not every 823 years. So it's complete and utter nonsense.

Probably best if you stick to your policy of not passing on chains in future. ;)

SMV, it happens on average every 7 years, not every 823 years.

Apart from that, some of it just plain nonsense. For example the bit that says...

'Take the last two digits of the year in which you were born - now add the age you will be this year. The results will be 111 for everyone in whole world' 

This is only correct for those born in the 20th century, so not 'everyone in the whole world'. And that 'phenomenon' happens every single year, the only difference will be the number (i.e. next yeat it will be 112 for everyone born in the 20th century).

But hey, if it floats you boat.... carry on being amazed....  ;)   
 

Just found it interesting that someone has actually sat down to note how many weekends there are in a July....whether it happens every 2,4,50,or 5000 years.  And to think to find "unusual" dates like 1/1/11.  I don't find them that unusual but no doubt someone will tell me that its the most dates in a year with only the one digit so interesting from that viewpoint.

And I do understand the 111....hence my comment.  Didn't think I needed to explain it any further...

But its not the first time I've been told I'm easily amused

I found it on a  thread for jokes on the general forum. Lots of very funny jokes on it.

I posted it because  I thought it was interesting  & did not think any one would ger their nickers in a twist over it.

I have NOT forwarded it on to my many, not so grumpie friends.

Unlike your self, I took it with a pinch of salt but as I didnt bother to look into the nitty gritty  of ots contents

I was unaware  that the facts were not  correct & as I presume the person who posred it originally did so because he /  she thought as i did that true or not it made for some light entertsinmen

It is evedent that next time I  want to add a smile onto some ones face. I will pm you first in order to get you approval
