Has anyone used a UK bought dongle when visiting CdA (or use their MOB as dongle) and had a reliable connection? Recommedations please- short term use wanted.

Looking for recommendations for a UK bought dongle or even information on use of MOB as dongle that actually provides a fairly reliable signal on CdA. Its only for use of just over a week so visitor doesnt want to buy a Spanish dongle and may be able to make use of the dongle on business trips elsewhere. It could be their own MOB will suffice (Orange) - any advice?

 I had some Canadian clients that bought a Spanish dongle whilst over here and on condado they could not find any signal :( Such a shame. I would reckon the English dongle would be the same.

We've got a Movistar dongle that we use when we visit CdA and it works OK most of the time. Can sometimes be a bit slow but mostly it's fine. It absolutely eats money though. First time we used it we charged it up with 50 Euros thinking that would be enough for the fortnight but it only lasted about 5 days, so we limit use now to quickly checking e-mails and stuff once a day. Still cost about 5 Euros a day though with very limited use.

 There is a 3G signal on Condado it just depend on which jardine you are in, if you are in J1 to J5 then you should be ok getting the Orange signal.  Obviously a Spanish one would be cheaper than using a UK one on roaming, but if they dont want to buy one?

If they have an unlocked mobile for email then just a Spanisg SIM would do, they could possibly use it in their dongle as well.

SIM cards are cheap, guess it depends on how much they will use it and what they want to pay.

 HAVE NOT USED A ENGLISH DONGLE IN SPAIN BUT HAVE USED A SPANISH ONE IN ENGLAND AND IT WORKED OUT VERY EXSPENSIVE IT IS BETTER TO GET A SPANISH PAY AS YOU GO ONE   HITS DO ONE FOR A 10€ DOWN PAYMENT AND THEN PAY AS YOU USE IT.  FOR MORE INFO CALL INTO THE POSTROOM IN LOS ALCAZARES AS THEY SELL THEM AND CAN HELP YOU OUT WITH ANY QUESTIONS
