Satellite Dish Wanted

Hope its for home in UK and not Condado!!!

Think some peeps may be dismayed in future who already have them!

For Condado, is there a problem?

Yep, Chaddy O is right. I think those that have fitted dishes already and there are only a few that I know of may be asked to take them down as they are contrary to rules of  the community. I wouldn´t bother anyway because if you want to get channels other than those already available on the network with a cheap digi box, ie SKY, you need a huge dish and the only place where that could be hidden and not attract attention is on the top of the Penthouses - yes I´ve considered it already - sad though I am.

When you look at some fitted equipment around the resort you wonder what is going on in some people´s minds. There is one ground floor penthouse with the air con coolers fitted to the wall adjacent the patio doors - a real eyesore. Can´t understand that one as everyone else hasthem on the roof out of sight!! This is something the administrators should be addressing!  So be careful what you do.

I think some people have brought certain apartments to the attention of ML for breaches of the rules. From what I heard they were a little more than just a dish on the roof.

I mentioned I thought dishes were OK if they were out of sight but was told not allowed at all.  Apparantley thats why the community pays for the TV as part of our fees.

So install a dish at your own risk as all it takes is someone making a complaint and I 'm sure you'll be asked to remove it.

Currently any kind of dishes/Aerials be they for Satellite or Internet are against the community rules.

There was a more to change this at the last AGM, so that ones that were on private terraces and not visible would be allowed, but the proposal was rejected.  There are some dishes that have been installed, some even of other peoples apartment walls!! These are completely against the community rules and the owners will be made to remove them.

There is a cable system on Condado which gives you most of the UK main channels.

What about getting some nice dark brown fencing then? 

 If you are on about fencing around the front garden, then yes that is ok, needs to be inside the hedge.
