Edit This Post

Can anyone please enlighten me as to why I'm getting 'Edit This Post' presumably inserted by EOS, at the top of my posts?

Probably something simple, but it's got me.

you get them on all the posts you make, in case you want to make a change to your post on that specific thread

Its not just on this forum,  all forums allow you to edit posts made by yourself.  Pretty standard functionality

I'm missing something here.  Why would anyone want to edit their post after submitting it?   Wouldn't they submit a new post?  I would have thought that was standard functionality.

I use it all the time when you press the send button and then realise you have made a spelling mistake!!!  so just use the 'edit this post' button

or you may have thought twice about posting what you have, so yuo can edit it not to offend people.  or stop yuorself get banned from the forum
