We visited La Tercia in February 2007 and have now signed up for a Swing apartment due for completion July 2009 - - Hope we have no problems although everything seems to be o.k. so far. 

We visited via Bravo in Ladybank, Fife and were escorted by Mark from Casablanca Properties during our viewing of other properties but La Tercia really impressed us.

When we visited the site on Sunday, 11th we were more or less sure that was what we wanted, Mark made a reservation - no deposit required for 24 hours - which secured the apartment we were interested in.  After sleeping on our decision we decided to go ahead on Monday and visited Casablanca when we paid our £2000 deposit.  After this Mark took us back out to the site for another look and while we were there we were aware of some excitement among the staff.  We were then congratulated on our purchase and told that the block our apartment was in, would, along with the other properties, be taken off the market for a few days - to be re-priced -as the licence for the other 9 holes had been approved and we were now on an 18 hole complex which should enhance the values of all the properties yippee .

Last week we transferred the remainder of our deposit via Global Express and hope to hear this week that the builders are now in possession of this.

We have not yet decided when our next trip out will be but as our apartment won't be ready until July 2009 we shall probably wait until next year and think that we may rent the equivalent of ours in phase 1 which will give us an indication of what we would like to do with ours.

If anyone out there is in the same position as ourselves it would be good to share experiences.

Hi Almarru, sounds like lady luck was shining on you in Feb  !!

You say your swing Apt is due for completion July 2009 - is that in phase 2, seems like a long gap between phase 1 (Dec 2007 outlook) and to phase 2 another 18 months ??

When we visited the development , the sales staff did say that the completion of phase 2 would be summer 2009. The links and  the majors buildings on phase 1,  do have a completion date of july 08 so we where told.

We have also purchased a swing apartment in phase 2, due for completion in July 2009, we bought through MRI on 14th February and so far so good, everything we hear  is good news and hopefully it'll stay that way.

Whereabouts is your apartment?  We are in M20 block 6.

We are going to be neighbours!!  We are M-20, Block 5, Floor 2. 

So far everything seems to be going well although nothing much is happening legally as we have paid the 2nd part of the deposit and don't expect to hear much more for a year or so.  July 2009 seems so far away but we were happy to buy off-plan due to the location.

We've just bought in M20 Block 5.  We were there with MRI (Cardiff show) on 29 June.

There's green grass on at least 2 of the greens!

I'm a bit worried about the mozzies being so close to the marsh, do you think they'll spray it to kill the larva?

Congrats on your purchase in our block.  We purchased in February and  July 2009 seemed like a lifetime away however here we are at the end of July 2007 and the time is  quickly passing by. Interesting to read your comments about the marsh and mozzies - it hadn't registered with us that we were near a marsh so fingers crossed we are going to be ok. Notice you are in Wales - we are in  Kilwinning, North Ayrshire.  We find this site really good especially when people are kind enough to download photos.

Nice to hear from you. 
There are so many water hazards around the golf course I don't think we'll get any more mozzies than everybody else.
Anyway Boots were selling DEET 2 for 1 this week so I've stocked up. 
Well I've just sent the deposit to AXIA FX, I saved £200 by shopping around.  Over £1000 better than my bank's tourist rate would have cost.
Are you going to the Coventry thing Dave's organising? (We're AndJac on the other forum) It will be nice to put some faces to names.
Do you think they'll build behind us?  They said they were leaving the marsh 'For Nature' so we should get a clear view over some of the next 9 holes.

Thanks for your update - no, unfortunately we won't being going to Davey's forum.  Coventry is quite a journey for us but once we get nearer our completion date we would hope to take part should there be another.  I may follow your lead and stock up on the "mozzie killer".  We have just been looking at the photos from Davey and we really notice such a difference since our visit in February.  It is good to have this facility and we appreciate Davey's input.  Keep in touch.
