We will be moving in on March 31st - phase 2 - all being well and wondered if you can walk to Sabinillas from the site?

What is the walking like around the area?

Also will the pools definitely be ready for Easter?

You can walk to Sabinillas but it is a bit of a trek!  There is talk of a footpath being built at the bottom of our develoment but at the moment you still have to walk all the way around.  I don't know about the pool but we are coming out on the 30th so I hope so.

When we went to DV, we walked down every morning to clear our heads (lol). It takes about 20-25mins, but it's all downhill so it's not difficult.

There are also a couple of nice cafes on the walk down that you can stop off at if you fancy a coffee or breakfast. (Beccy's Cafe).

What we did was drive down in the evening and leave the car in the free car park in the marina, then get a cab back at the end of the evening, it only costs c8 euros.

Paula D In DV as we speak. Large pool at bottom is full and the gate and fencing is complete. There is a sign saying swim at your own risk. Pool at block 10 is empty but a green chain link fence has been erected so no idea about that.

Many thanks for the information on accessing Sabinillas. Glad about the pool too so hopefully the weather will be warm enough for swimming at Easter - at least for the kids!

Our eldest (17) is a qualified lifeguard and swimming coach if that's of any use and will be with us for the second week.
