I am visiting the development at the end of this month, any requests for photos?

To all those who messaged me I will do my best to get all the photos you want.

 

Daniela Is the pool open? What's the weather like at this time?

Hiya,

I am just about to upload all the photos I have taken.  The pool at the bottom of the development is open but the weather is not good.  It has been raining off and on all week!  To those who has specific requests of photos I have tried to get the ones that you wanted but a lot of the blocks at the top of the development don't have the numbers yet so I don't know which one is which.

Me too on 22nd April for a week...might see you around?

Nice photos, Daniela. 

It is nice to see how Phase 3 is coming along.  A couple of photos taken, I think from the road behind the development show a block that has barely started. So it looks like it will be some time yet before everything is finished.

The new block just starting looks like block 16, with block 15 (ours) along side at the top of the golf course. It looks very close to the road and the apartments on the other side of the golf course, but it may be the angle of the picture. Do you have any more pictures of these blocks please?

GR, I'm not sure what photo you are referring to, but if it's 708723 (the number should show when viewing the pic), then I think that is actually the foundation for the pool area at the top of the development, showing block 15 behind it.  There is a good hundred and fifty yards, I'd say, between block 15 and the villas on the other side of the golf course at that particular point at the top of the road (but then, as a golfer, I'm useless at judging distance without an on-buggy GPS or whatever they are called!).

I think block 16 is at right angles to block 15 which is adjacent to the golf course. So the pool , i think, is in the area formed by block 15 and 16.  

Yes, if you are driving up to the little round-about at the main entrance to the DV site, you will see the pool area on you right, and then, once you have turned, that is block 16 on your right.

If you look at the original site plans given (well, the ones that were given to us in 2003!!) there have obviously been some changes made!!  Slight, but noticeable!  Eg, the second pool on the first phase has been relocated and block 16 has most definitely been positioned more at right-angles with the lower end of block 15, leaving that area at the top for the pool.

I read that there were to be six pools on the development, although I can't see where else they are to be.  Someone mentioned one near block 17 and it would be interesting to hear about any developments of further pools.  For an urbanisation with over 700 (I believe) apartments, six pools sounds more feasible than four!!

Does anyone have any news on that?  (Sorry if it's gone off-thread a little!)

On the site plan I have dated 28/10/03, the is a pool sandwiched between blocks 15, 16 & 17. Block 16 backing onto the road up from the Marina and as you say virtually at right angles to block 15 & the golf course

There is then another pool behind Escalera's 69-74 (sorry don't know block number). I can't be certain, but then looks like another smaller pool further along that row as well.

When i was last there at beginning of March I went walkabout one evening, looking for marble tiles but that is another story,  and went into the site office which is actually a 3 bed apartment in block 18, fully kitted out. The only guy who could speak english told me of 5 pools ...2 infront of block 3 and 4, 1 between 10 and 12, 1 near 16 and lastly 1 between 18 and 20. Later that evening i walked between these blocks but if you have seen this space its hard to visualise a pool in that area.

I think they count the kiddies pool near block 10 as a pool so that would then make 5 in total.

Sorry, got my blocks confused!!  It's block 17 that is more at right-angles with the bottom of block 15, I think.  The one that faces you at the top of the road if you are looking up from block 1.  As you say, John 777, the pool is tucked away in that top corner, between the three blocks.  The other one you mention is the one JC1 mentioned, behind block 18 (Escalera 69, I think).

According to our phase 3 plans it shows a pool between blocks 16 and 17 (i.e. behind escalera 64 & 65 and in front of escalera 62 & 63), viewable from the top road of the development , and presumably viewable from the rear of block 15. Also the plan shows a pool between blocks 18 and 20 (i.e. behind escalera 70 & 71 and in front of escalera 80 & 81). Hope this helps, although seeing is believing!

It's interesting JC1, to hear that there is a site office in Block 18, fully kitted out.  Does this mean that this block is more or less complete?  Does anyone have a completion date for an apartment in this block yet?

No quite the contrary...the stairs are still being built..lighting flex hung along the celings so the block is still ashell...except for this fully tiled apartment with a suite of office furniture. And a couple of pet birds in a cage!!!   dont think it is the show flat.

So is it  unlikely to complete in July, which is the month for completion according to the Developers.

Must give them a ring!

I have just uploaded 2 photos of the pool between blocks 15, 16 and 17. They were taken looking towards 15 with 16 on the right handside.
