Half Term Sports Workshops for Kids

 Hi everyone,

 

Just spreading the word about the half term sports clubs I am running on the 26th, 27th and 28th October.

They are set out daily in 1 hr 45 mins workshops just to give the kids things to do on the resort. They will be held at The Condado Club, with a handy bar, tv's and terrace to relax in once you have dropped off  your child.

They are suitable for a range of different ages, in various themes. See posters below!

Please reply to this thread if you have any comments or suggestions, this is something I would like to see happening all year round, so advice is great!

Sorry that you had to write that long message!

 

On the website I have written my credentials.

I have an up to date CRB.

I have all my sports qualifications.

I have my safe guarding children certificate.

I am first aid trained.

In the UK I was a freelance PE Teacher teaching classes of up to 30 children ages 2- 18, all by myself in London and Sussex.

 

The reason I am in Spain is because I am completing a degree in English Literature and Language, NOT to run dodgey "kids klubs".

Obviously it is your perrogative to ask this if you are a parent. However; I would never ever think of offering such a service if I had no idea, and no right. And so therefore I would ask that you ask me such questions privately so that I can continue in providing such a service that people have been asking for.

 

How silly of me to think I could reach positive people on eye on spain.

Hi Sara

Whatever has been written below has obviously been removed, but well done for providing something for the children on Condado!!

Ignore the negative comments as most people will appreciate the time and effort you put in to enable our kids to have fun and meet new friends, both at the recent fiesta's and the new workshops.

Last summer we had friends over with us and they found it very difficult to keep their more active kids amused.

Sara these sound absolutely fantastic. We are here already but leave on 26 so will unfortunately miss all the workshops but I can assure you if we had been here my 2 children would have loved to have taken part. Thank you for organising these.

It's very annoying on a forum to have posts deleted so I can't see what quiet man actually posted but from the tone I can see that it was not an encouraging pat on the back!

You can't please everyone in life but if more of these activities can be organised I for one will personally pat you on the back, shake your and and buy you a drink!

Thanks so much for the support, there are so many ways we can all help to make our resort better and I'm really looking forward to seeing who's up for this.

Obviously I'm aware not everyone is out for this half term and of course the Scottish and Irish have completely different holiday dates. So this will be a little test in the water. My aim is to have something running for every school holiday, everywhere. EEK! Let's see how it goes. But anyways, sorry if your not here next week - you're missing out.

HINT: We need more dancers! I know you're out there...
