Well Done to all at the society as usual.
I'm very happy with that and extremely happy witht the 50% reduction for juniors. As my lad will be able to now get 18 holes in for £16.50 at todays exchange rate and that's blinding.
Nice work and if there's a club house on the distant horizon then we really can live in hope.
Jay (& Billy!!!!) LOL

I wonder who, if anyone, we could contact to ask about the possibility of a pitch n putt or crazy golf on CDA? They have crazy golf on la manga club and it's very well used. It's a good way to get the younger ones involved on a golf resort and would be a great addition to the resort facilities for families. Im no expert but I doubt if the set up costs would be too onerous. ?? What do others think? Arlene.

Its the constant specualation that doesn't help and concerns me - the simple truth is that I don't believe that anyone really knows what is going on and not likely to know until the 1st brick is laid.

Mark, I agree with you. Fed up with speculation and so many false starts, believe it when I see it all. Glass Club house sounds like the old sales office or a reject from 'The Cube' on tv which would be incredibly hot!
Also not able to visit for eons as very shortly off on my travels again and away for a long time, so almost feel like joining the 'half empty crew' but will restrain myself. Maybe by the time I can get over Al Kasar will be a heaving Metropolis, the 'temporary' clubhouse will be a hive of activity and the permanent club house will be more than footings dug, Condado Club will be all a- buzz with customers and events, Paramount will have cut the first sod and I'll be a happy man! Hoping to do a 2 month winter sojourn 2012/2013 so keep the faith folks.
(NB- as a side bar- if anyone hasn't yet visited the Guns of Mazarron in the hills back of Puerto Mazarron get yourselves over there, interesting and picturesque)

A Paramount theme park is to be built on our doorstep, the initial funds of 80,000,000e have been secured and the first blow shall be struck early March. The remaining balance of the 0ne Billion Euros will be self funded by the hotel groups and designer outlets wishing a big piece of the action. In June we will only have to fall off the walk on bridges (sponsored by Ryanair) at Corvera airport and we will land in our back yard. Olagolf are constructing a temporary club house quickly followed by a 2,000,000e permanent club house. The tempoaray club house (the shed) from Hacienda Riquelme will be resited at Condado. The old sales office (the green house) will be relocated and transformed in to a tempopray but quality club house at Condado. Global Golf have been informed that IRM are releasing funds to construct a 5 star permanent club house on Condado. What a year we are in for! Wont have to worry about the constuction of a pitch and putt course or indeed a CRAZY golf course, it seems we already have one. By the time all these temporary and permanent buildings are constructed we will only have room for miniture golf. Where are all the half empty crew now! Surely they can't argue with these hard facts.

Bet a few of you are wishing you were a bit more sceptical when you believed the sales jargon and parted with your hard earned!
However i have just come back from condado and have to say its the best golf course i have ever played. And if i had 69k to invest i would certainly think about snapping up a 3 bed apartment on what seems to me to be a beautiful unspoilt resort. The fact you havent a club house isnt the end of the world. Took me 5 hours to play Mar Menor which was jammed solid and just 3 1/2 hours to play condado and we hardly saw a sole. To me it was millionaires golf. You are all very lucky and just dont realise it.

Totally agree with you.
I think people underestimate the number of golfers who will come to play the course once a clubhouse is in place. And that will be a good thing in every way except for access and ease of play.
We definitely need a clubhouse but at the moment you can nearly walk onto the course when you want to play (except society days).

Hi Shane
We'd all trade easy access for having to ring em up and book a couple of days in advance if it meant me and the ole lady could sit on the terrace now and again sipping ice cold beers and cocktails as the sun goes down eh??
Ahhh the dream!!

I'm with you Jay...and borrow a buggy to get you home safely!!
The view over the 9th and 18th is incredible and I'll put up with more people on the golf course to get the clubhouse.
I play mostly on society days anyway and it aint that quick anyway!!
