Whats this meeting about with masa´s solicitor again?

It appears like before Masa wants us to take over the site and they can wash their hands from SG . Where as before the meeting was boycotted this one looks like standing room only . More than that I cannot say but first things first in a couple of hours a few of us are going to see our local mayor to put our view on Masa .

The meeting with the mayor did not go as planned . Before we arrived the mayor was called away so our message was left with a lady in the mayor's office . tThe mayor did phone Jeanette later in the evening to discuss our points and wants to meet us at a later date .

The meeting at the pool bar was total farse , SG home owners had to sign in with their NIE number . This took almost one and a half hours . Fronting us were 3 Masa men , a BBVA man ( a big question on this credentials) and Yvette from the pool bar . They were shy in telling us who they were , but eventully admitted they were Masa men and gave their names . We were 1st informed about last years meeting which was boycotted by the home owners because Masa was then trying to take over the site ( meaning they wanted your money to complete the site ) even though they had picked up their toys , closed the door and left SG behind them without completing what was promised when we purchased our properties .They say as they own over 40% of SG and we cannot vote them down , so they have voted themselves on a committee to run the site . Since last year they have done NOTHING on site but want us to pay them . The committee consist of 4 Masa men and their lacky . Example , Block 13 , the home owners will have to find over 13.000 euros between them . With the different size houses the amounts will vary between 300 and 500 plus per household , but not only that they are backdating to march 2011 . DO NOT give Masa any of your bank details . The night ended in disorder with people walking out , the people left voted no confidence in Masa or the committee . The worrying thing Masa had more votes and they used the votes of the people who walked out as a vote for them has you had to sign to show our objections .

We are trying some thing different , but at the moment we are keeping it hush hush so Masa and its lackies no nothing and I believe do look at EOS . I've mention the mayor which will be ongoing. We are also going around the site to raise funds to pay for the help we need . If every household put 10 euros in the kitty we can employ help . Sorry it's not good news but hopefully we can stop Masa charging us what they like . I will inform you when I no more .Question . As any other site had the same problems , and how did they resolve it ?

I been contacted and asked what is masa going to do with all OUR money . Well Procobar, SL was a company set up by Masa to develope SG and no other development . So if Procobar cannot find the funds to complete SG they go bust will no ill effects to Masa . This what is happening , Procobar has run out , Full stop . The council won't take over until they complete . So to raise the money required they want it off you . We believe all the blocks are being charged . example block 13 over 13000euro and like wise all other blocks depending on size . Masa say it's for st. lighting , rubbish removal , garden areas . ( and being back dated to March 2011 - This is total lies because they have NOT touched any of the green areas since in the last year . In fact since the site opened if it were'nt for Ian , Myself , Lesley , and Ray doing the gardens they have been left to weeds because Masa have NOT touched them since the site opened ) .They are saying they want 60,000 euro per year to keep the green areas nice and having it back dated even they have NOT done a thing . They also want over 15000 for their friend to administer the site . A part time job , and worst 1.000ssssssssssssssssss of euros , I coud add more ss but I won't use my ink for Masa to insure the site in case some thing goes wrong on SG . What went wrong is having a builder like Masa .  Masa has agreed to chip in money in for their empty houses . We beleive once they your money Procobar will go bust so you will have to pay their share as well . If you are on a block will alot of empty houses it will cost you a fortune . Beware Masa are liers , cheats . I said this to their director Daniel Bascunana Galiano and he strugged . Don't vote for anything Masa says and more important DON'T give your bank details . The fight goes on .

We believe that the community follows the path of dealing with the mayor to get them to take over the responsibility of raods sewers lighting bins etc

Re MASA

Its our view that a properly constituted community committee has NOT yet been set up

Were are the formal proposals for the community constitution, its terms of reference, the lection of officers, there roles responsibilitiues and delegated authorities

Where areminutes of mintiings appoving the said committee etc

MASA are trying the old trick of divide and conquer

Lets ALL stick together to deal with the mayooy and once that is resolved we can then formally and constitutionally elect a committee to deal with those items that are not the responsibility of the Council

Its also our understanding that NO community association can enforce payment of community fees, they can only withdraw peoples voting rights

Let MASA keep blowing hot air

Let us focus on a proper process for dealing with the council

As a rider anyone still giving the pool bar custom is doing themselves and the community an injustice

Hi I would like to second steve and rosas comment on the POOL BAR

Masa's at it again . Last week we saw them taking sola panels from the empty buildings . I passed a low loader with eight panels on and  lifting equiptment  taking more off the roof . In the next street a  van was being loaded with furniture , sinks , toilets and all kinds of fittings . I asked who they were and they kept their mouths shut , but it was all being loaded into a Masa van . I took photos to prove my point , the men kept away from the camera . Who owns these properties ? Masa says them , but are they all mortaged with BBVA? If so , are Masa assit stripping BBVA properties and sending the contents to their new site in Mil Palmaris ? What would the bank say ? these properties are being made unsaleable . They have left the site but they still want to tell us what to do .

Warning a man was taking bags of rubbish out of the skip and loading it unopened into his car . Beware of putting your private details in thr skip .

Sounds very stressful for all living there.  Keep up the pressure Frank & All.

For 1 who isnt living there, I take comfort knowing that the community is standing up to be counted.  I just wish I could help more from afar.

Looking forward to being there in 2 weeks to lend whatever hand I can offer

Has anybody a way of informing the bank BBVA what MASA is up to . I am sure they are braking the law , but things are done so different in Spain or are they ? These properties are mortgaged up to the hilt , so if  sold not only does the mortgage amount go to BBVA the fall in the price of these properties has to be paid by Masa to cover the balance whats owed . This could amount to over 20.000 euros per house . To stop the houses being sold remove the solar panel . It.s against the law now in Spain to sell a property without them . Also if you remove the sinks , toilets , baths , and furniture , possible buyers will find the houses off putting and not go through with the sale . Masa wins on both acounts , not paying the banks and making SG look like a shanty town stopping sales  . BBVA ARE YOU LISTENING . 

If the properties are mortgaged to MASA then MASA own them  and unless something happens to them, for example they go into receivership, it is nothing to do with the bank what they do with them, as long of course as they are paying their mortgages

It is no different to the property that you own on the site, if you decide to remove the furniture, which by the way isn't part of the mortgage valuation, same for fixtures, it is only when there is a call on the property will the bank then come in and value the property based on what they find

This is a VERY COMMON practice with deveopers, everything incuding windows, AC units and furniture, and  chances there wi be another site where these items are required, yes the site in Millpalmeres, where there are some completions due to start happening on sold properties

Also chances are the bank are financing the other site so agian all they want is their money

If of course they then wish to sell the stripped properties they will have to restore everything so that the properties meet the origina agreed specification, if they are not sold it doesn't matter to MASA
