We had the same problem a few years ago. We also
paid by direct debit iberdrola said we didnt pay a bill they never took a payment from our account
we got our property management company to contact iberdrola I think it took 10 days for them to
reconnect we had to pay a fee which they took from the same direct debit account its a joke but I think it happens
all the time. We also had to get the gas reset as there was no electricity the gas automatically shuts down.
